Elizabeth McCarty Cossler's second husband was David Swain, whom she married 22 Nov. 1838 in Hancock Co., KY. Her third husband was John Bewick (coal miner) whom she married 3 Dec. 1842. They moved to Mahoning County, OH by 1850. Elizabeth's third husband was W.P. Jones.

Ludwig (Lewis) Cassler (Cosler) married Catherina Maser (Moser) on 13 September 1781, in Manheim, Lancaster Co., PA.

Jacob Cassler married Catherine Bartholomew.

Anna Elizabeth and Christina Cassler both died of small pox in 1769. They are buried in the Moravian Cemetery in Lititz.

Anna Christina Cassler married Abraham Levering on 26 August 1790 in Lancaster Co., PA.

Matthias Cassler married Margaret Rummage.

William S. Cossler married Catherine Riddle

William Cossler was married twice; his second wife's name was Nancy Jones. They were married 11 December 1846. Mary Carr Cosler died in January of 1846.

Louisa J. Cosler married James Sloan (after James Abshire death ) on 3 November 1842 in Hancock Co., KY.
Sloan was a Scottish immigrant.
James Sloan was killed by Indians while in California mining for gold in 1849, leaving Louisa behind in Kentucky, a widow with 4 children.

Franklin G. Cossler and Johnson R. Cossler both served in the Union army in the Civil War.

Johnson R. Cossler was married three times and had children by all 3 marriages;
